On Tuesday, February 12, Cedar Bay was low bidder on the
Complete Plant Contract for this $4,217,000 Water Treatment Plant
Improvements project for the City of Oberlin, Ohio (Lorain County).
The
proposed scope of work consists of:
rehabilitation of an existing raw water pump station & water
treatment plant, including replacement of pumps, flocculators,
recarbonation system, filter system, various chemical feed systems,
plant-wide electrical, instrumentation & control system improvements, a
1,200 sq. ft. building addition with new laboratory & offices. In
addition these sections apply: demolition, excavation & backfill, slope
protection, grading & seeding, fencing, concrete, re-steel,
waterproofing, precast hollow core slabs, masonry, glass block,
structural steel & misc. metals, liquid waterproofing, EPDM roofing,
doors, windows, O/H coiling door, painting/coatings, caulking, interior
finishes, process piping & valves, monorail system, plumbing, HVAC,
electrical & instrumentation.
